My guess would be if this happens it would be Iran launching its "attacks" on the US and Israel. I could seem them share intel with Russia about it as well or Russian groups just to create a nightmare internet situation. Since Iran said it would respond quickly but we really have not seen anything concrete this is one way they could go after US interests without actually attacking them.
