Literally was just listening the @kr podcast with @koob talking about John Carvahlo’s web of trust.
What is “good” is going to be very contextual to you and your interests. So yes, YOUR upvotes should definitely curate your view of SN.
But there is something interesting that could be done with archetypes and an overall SN feed/channel. The “tech” or “ meme” archetypes could be community curated based on individual users as well (your OG idea).
This is churning through my brain today…

Oh I like that idea, sounds fun.
But I think the connection between upvoting early and getting some sats in the daily airdrop isn't direct enough to understand.
Or maybe in coordination with other evolutions of the algorithm together. Might turn out well

It needs to be carefully thought and perhaps only for "vote" amounts bigger than X (meaning "this content is really good and I bet on it"), otherwise I can see it being an incentive for some people to "game the system".
