If you thought you can easily dismiss these, think again. This story is getting wild, so strap on those cowboy hats and be willing to adjust your priors stackers.
The Nazca Mummies
"I've been down [in Mexico and Peru] with my team, we've been meeting with the forensic scientists, really high level people in these countries that've been examining these things. There is a massive fraud that has happened here. But it's not Jaime Maussan who's committing the fraud, it's the Peruvian government." -Michael Mazzola (Director of Unacknowledged and Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind)
On September 12th 2023, the Mexican Chamber of Deputies rolled out some mummified "alien" bodies. The Spanish livestream of this hearing on YouTube was my first time seeing these things. As an American, I'm unable to speak other languages, and all I could do was watch incredulously. The 3D scans they showed are what intrigued me the most. I didn't followed it much, most of the reporting seemed to just be ad hominem attacks on anyone involved.
If these are fake, there is ALOT of proof-of-work here I remember thinking.
Eventually in January 2024, a story broke about fake dolls being apprehended at an airport in Peru. These were replicas of the Nazca bodies being sold as souvenirs, the dude who made them said he made them to sell to tourists. The Peruvian government took them, then came the news articles.
If you do a search on a non-Kagi search engine, you'll be flooded with "PERU ALIENS ARE DOLLS" articles. They talk about the airport, the dolls, how they're made with chicken bones etc. Then they jump straight to the two bodies brought out at the hearing trying to connect the mummies and dolls in ordered to get everything dismissed.
No aliens here, these two things are dolls, so all the other ones are dolls.
The amount of mainstream news outlets printing nearly the exact same article is nauseating. I'm not linking to their articles but here are the top search results:
Reuters: Scientists assert 'alien mummies' in Peru are really dolls made from earthly bones.
CBS News: "Aliens" found in Peru are actually dolls made of bones
The Independent: Mystery of Peru 'alien' figures finally solved
AP News 'Aliens' found in Peru are dolls assembled with animal bones
Thinking Critically and Open-Mindedly about the Nazca Mummies
Recently, I stumbled upon this lecture by an Ohio State philosophy professor posted three weeks ago:

I highly, recommend it. Dr. Steven Brown presents a quick rundown of the story so far when it comes to UFOs and UAP in general. Then he spends a majority of the talk on the Nazca mummies and his arguments for why he believes they are real coherent remains of non-human beings.
Here are some points from the talk, the "hot takes" are Brown's and he defines them as "I mean it, but I know they're controversial":
Hot Take #1 "Anyone who carefully considers the publicly available evidence and thinks clearly about it, may rationally conclude that the mummies are aliens. No special expertise is required at this point."
- Paradox meaning two things that are incompatible.
- The priors are correct, but the observations are wrong, there's plenty of evidence of alien contact.
Hot Take #2 "Independent of the Nazca mummies, you should already believe in aliens"
- The 2004 Nimitz encounter where navy pilots Fravor and Dietrich engaged, and were engaged by, a white tic-tac is one of the most well known contemporary sightings.
- There's 80 years of sightings, https://www.ufos.wiki/ take your pick
Hot Take #3 "The Nazca Mummies provide an independent confirmation of the 5OC argument. The burden of proof for public acceptance of their authenticity was met about 5 years ago and nobody listened"
- Huaqeros are basically tomb raiders or graverobbers. The guy that found these "Mario" is supposedly getting an interview soon, more about that in Part Two of this post.
- https://www.the-alien-project.com/ Has all the data on these things. The site could use some optimization, sure.
- This site is where you can find the carbon dating, DNA results, 3D scans. If you can understand the dating and DNA analysis, here you go. TLDR for non-scientists, they have DNA and it's very weird.
- You can also play around with the 3-D scans of each body here: https://the-alien-project.com/3DV/index.html
- Not all the bodies are the same.
-
The "humanoid reptiles" Josefina, Victoria, Alberto, and The Family.
- Josefina has a piece of metal implanted inside her chest. It has soft tissue and bone fused to it. A dental surgeon, Irving Zuniga, says this indicates she was alive when it was placed inside. 1
-
The "hybrid humanoids" Maria, Wawita, Monserrat, and Rafael
- Monserrat was discovered this year in 2024 by the same "Mario" . It contains 10 metal implants and the fetus, Rafael.
-
The "insectoid", Nukarri. I don't know what to make of that one.
-
This is about the halfway mark in his talk. Again, you should go watch the whole thing. At 43 minutes is when he start going through the debunks and possible explanations for everything, and the amount of effort that would need to go into faking these objects and tricking all of these scientists.
Part Two will be about:
- The humans involved with this story.
- The team of American scientists that visited Peru this month. Spoiler, they that say for sure, more investigation is needed.
- The press conference that these American scientists spoke at on April 4th, that was also raided by the Peruvian Ministry of Culture.
- A former prosecutor, (son of one of the American scientists that visited Peru) his blog, and his upcoming interview with "Mario" the huaquero that found the bodies, and apparently, more artifacts.
