I have a pile of textbooks that served me well during my years in academia. Now I hope to pass it onto the right person who fits this niche interest. They are well suited for an aspiring metallurgist especially if you have interest in welding or 3D printing. Some will interest anyone involved in finite element modeling or materials science in general.
Throw out an offer for one or all! I will simply be happy to find someone who can use these. All are hardcovers in good to excellent condition.
Here’s the list:
- Welding Metallurgy and Weldability by John C. Lippold
- Physical Metallurgy Principles by Robert E. Reed-Hill & Reza Abbaschian (3rd Ed)
- Transport Phenomena in Materials Processing by D.R Poirier & G. H. Geiger
- Mechanical Metallurgy by George E. Dieter (3rd Ed)
- Theory of Elasticity by Timoshenko & Goodier (3rd Ed)
- Fundamentals of Fracture Mechanics by Tribikram Kundu
