I think no one really knows but it seems to me that due to the fact that the vast majority of people that trade bitcoin have no clue how it works it could go down in market price/purchasing power. I'd love to see this btw. Getting harder to stack all the time.

Bitcoin seems to be tracking with the rest of the market (fiat) lately which is another signal about the ignorance.
