This is when Max decided to see how he fares at Lightweight for the first time. I wanted everyone to check out the difference between his speed and power from this fight to the recent KO of Gaethje.

He took time away and decided to bulk properly, it looks like he has become a new man in the lightweight division. I think his age was stopping him from cutting to featherweight properly.

Hopefully he doesn’t drain himself trying to take his title from Topuria, yet I could see him overwhelming Ilia in the later rounds. His style is very pressure heavy and I’m thinking Ilia will fold.

Now that we have seen what he can do, I would like for him to stick around and make this division his permanent home. Anyways, check out the fight! It’s an all-time great!
