I will concede that my wording and usage of the generalization of the "rich being certain to fuck it up" was dismissive of an entire "classification" of people and certainly was not my intent. I can see how that would be potentially triggering for some who read it. I apologize as I agree that there are certainly many "rich" people who have a good head on their shoulders and hold the ability to not mess up a superior monetary system.
I don't believe we have to engineer or overengineer for a particular social outcome - that was not the point I was trying to make.... I am simply a believer that everyone has a role to play in everything and that we are better as a society on the whole if we allow, encourage, and try to understand the world based on everyone's perspectives. With that being said getting Bitcoin into the hands of the many will help ensure its ability to overwrite a majority of our systems in the shortest time frame possible which will help the network be as successful as possible.
Not sure if it will help but - for what its worth...
I like to look at Bitcoin as a more pure representation of a "Natural System of Value Communication" and I believe it will tend to a more neutral state over time...(think eons). To me this means it is likely that the value created within this system, will become more evenly distributed over the entire system vs. being forced into uneven distributions. This is based solely on my personal opinions and beliefs which are based off my current understanding of the natural world around us....but alas I am not a physics expert or anything like that so I am probably, most likely, completely wrong.
In which case I would tend to agree with your analysis of their likely being bitcoin rich and bitcoin poor sub-systems of society....in which the few are able to take advantage of the many for personal gain or wealth....
I must say though... that if I have a choice I am going to try and pull my future into the present and get far away from the one you described.
