The goal my of my proposal was to make physical internet access points available to more people. Imagine you're traveling with a laptop and you can join access points hosted by anyone. Effectively you would be renting renting someone else's WiFi.

Another use case would be to incentivize decentralization of the telecommunications networks at large. They're the biggest chokepoint I see with bitcoin since if they are disrupted (for example during a war) it makes transactions much more difficult.

If more and more people were paid to host HAM radio repeaters, for example, that can broadcast transactions then the network becomes more resilient.
