That must be one of the more ironically empowering life lessons.
There's a flip side to that lesson, too, that goes towards your second point. If you actually pay attention to the different kinds of posts that gain traction here, you'll notice that some of them are just half-baked conversation starters and others are self-described rants.
Sometimes, you can get more engagement on those incomplete and imperfect posts, because people see more points to jump in on.

I know you are thinking about your rant, but being self-absorbed, I thought about my own rant. Haha. Looking back, I’m touched by how many Stackers took the time to respond, especially since I get a better idea of their posting n commenting patterns these days haha. (As in some just mainly post but hardly comment.) Anyway, they read a fellow dad in need n just wanted to help 😘

I was actually thinking of a different rant entirely, but I don't remember whose it was or even what it was about exactly.
You might be wondering in what capacity I was thinking about it then, and that would be a good question. Brains are weird.

I was just musing last night about how I love teaching English more because my students’ brains are wired differently from mine. Love diversity n all the idiosyncrasies n nuances n quirks it brings!
Will tag you when I write that post ☝️
