I mean when I see something interesting and spend some time understanding it, if I consider the information valuable, I might consider sharing it with like minded people. Increasingly, I discount Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, etc. because, well, you know. On Stacker News it's easy to identify what information is actually worth investing time on.

I certainly get more interaction here than elsewhere.

I like it here too, has an additive feel. If this is how you feel, can i ask you if you've seen my article about NIP-23? I'm putting it as a story format.. I'll like to hear your two sats. I'm writing part two, soon I'll have it up. I also just ever so slightly talk about ICANN.

Oh man, same here.
I get some news from here, but lately have been off of reddit.
I rarely used facebook anyway.
Seems a lot better on here anyways :)

Agreed. I never had much interest in Facebook, Twitter, etc. I used to be on Reddit a lot but that all changed after the end of third party apps. I tried Nostr for awhile but never got much interaction there. SN is by far the best. I get a lot more interaction here and good content is actually rewarded.

I actually forgot about Nostr. I haven't checked it in a couple of months.
