People often stubbornly hold to false beliefs, one of them being that government regulation of driving prevents chaos. However, the opposite seems to be true: government involvement in anything, including driving a car, creates the chaos we claim we want to avoid.
I barely exist under my old government issued identity. I still have a license and a passport for travel, but I am almost a ghost. Feels very freeing.

If we took all the stop signs out, and put yield signs, do you think people would be more attentive?
reply
I think people are idiots and they'll drive like it as long as they're allowed to.
reply
haha, you dont believe people would figure out how to drive? You should give people more credit, they can adapt.
reply
I said that people can drive. They just drive like idiots.
reply
that is true. I remember when a 16 year old kid tboned me on my motorcycle because he wasnt paying attention.
reply
That sucks. I'm glad you're ok.
I see so many cars with smashed front driver's side bumpers from running stop or yield signs and causing accidents.
reply
or bumpers barely hanging on. People have no respect for their property. I lifted my leg up when I saw something out of the corner of my eye. He ended up hitting the frame and ejecting me off the bike. I wasnt hurt much.
