Just hope that he is able to keep his eyes on the goal. It also depends on the people he surrounds himself with. As is all cases in life.
Once other countries pile on, they should be able to leap frog El Salvador. El Salvador is the beta test, not the final product.
Can you imagine how much bitcoin the US could acquire if they wanted to - even by purely legal means?
10 billion dollars of whatever is wildly different to El Salvador vs a modern industrialized western country with 10x the population.
How are their keys managed ? Do they have some kind of collaborative custody arrangement ?
The last news that I remember I saw, was about moving the fonds from a Custody to a single sig wallet.
If true, that's a bad setup for a country's sovereign wealth. They need to rethink this to avoid losing their btc.
