PRAYER OF THE DAY - Revelation 22:20
Beloved Creator of the Universe, in this new dawn, we lift our hearts to You in gratitude and reverence. As Revelation 22:20 teaches us, 'He that testifies to these things says, Surely I come quickly. Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!' May this promise of Your coming fill us with hope and renew our faith to face the challenges of the day that begins.
May we, with humility, follow Your teachings of love, compassion and forgiveness, always seeking unity among all human beings, regardless of their beliefs or origins. Pour upon us Your divine light so that we may discern the path of truth and justice at all times.
May our words and actions reflect Your presence in our lives, spreading peace and kindness wherever we go. Enable us, O God, to be instruments of reconciliation and harmony in a world often marked by division and conflict.
Grant us, Lord, wisdom to deal with the adversities we encounter, courage to face challenges, and compassion for those who suffer around us. May Your love be the force that guides and sustains us at all times.
On this day, we consecrate our plans and our steps to You, confident that Your presence accompanies us on each journey. May we live according to Your will, fulfilling our purpose in this world as we await Your glorious coming.
In Your name, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray.
Amen.
