Very good article, although it's certainly not optimistic regarding the near to medium term.

American Bitcoin Companies and citizens should stand up to their government. They have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Bitcoiners around the world should support them in any way they can.
That's what we need now. We need to create some kind of legal fund which should serve as an aid to those who are being bullied by these fuckin' govs around the globe.

Well. Donating money did not help political prisoners in Russia. The state gladly collected the fines and jailed everyone anyway, including the defence lawyers. Playing by the crook's rules won't let us beat them. The Matrix has you. The only way to fight is to stay under the radar, resist in a sly roundabout way, employ full decentralization and anonymity. Exchange BTC for cash in face-to-face transactions, stop using bank accounts. Pay utility bills with cash. Let the banks starve. Fuck those bastards.

This is why I say politics matter. Get into the party and stand on truth. Dont be a captured cuck. Write code and fight for your rights

I think Americans are used to seeing people arrested for bullshit technicalities and thrown in jail for long periods of time. But in the rest of the world, it is quite uncommon. For a non-US Bitcoin entrepreneur, the US is a scary and dangerous place. American authorities seem resourceful, competent, and motivated to destroy your life just to prove a point. This line of thinking is not paranoia, nor is it cowardice.
Good article. The silver lining is that perhaps @k00b is in the process of getting his wish.

If a getaway car used by bank robbers was manufactured by Ford, all employees of Ford and the dealership that sold it must be held accountable. Ah yes, and especially those who developed the car software. Because it was transferring illegal money. Right? What a joke of a legal system.

Similar to the reason why it was okay for primedice to originally be played in the usa, then they banned it. They didnt want to deal with new regulations and problems.
