Kind of, yes. Having the password to some valuable centralized server or IP on the server is kind of similar. But it does not have the security of decentralization. So I would say yes.

Hmmmm, maybe not property since you can't really own it or occupy it or put it in your safe. You can't hold it, you can only authorize its transfer. From address to address. Maybe a new type of Hot Potato??
