Sardine pie recipe ingredients For mass
2 cups (tea) of wheat flour
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
400 ml of milk
200 ml of oil
3 eggs
½ tablespoon of salt
1 tablespoon of baking powder
For the filling
½ chopped onion
1 chopped tomato
1 can of green corn without the water
1 can of peas without water
1 grated carrot
3 cans of sardines
Salt to taste
For assembly
Grated Parmesan cheese to taste for sprinkling
Method of preparation
From the filling
In a bowl, place the carrot, peas, corn, tomato, onion, salt and sardines.
Mix well to homogenize, and set aside.
From the dough
In a blender, place the milk, oil, grated Parmesan cheese, salt and eggs. Beat well for 1 minute.
Add the wheat flour, beat for 30 seconds to incorporate, add the yeast and beat quickly just to combine.
Pour half of this mixture into a greased and floured rectangular pan (30 cm x 20 cm), add the filling and spread well.
Arrange the rest of the dough, spread it evenly and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese to taste.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes. Remove from the oven, let cool and cut into squares.
