Former New Zealand player and 2015 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup finalist Corey Anderson has been named in USA's squad for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024.
Dallas will host ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 opener between the USA and Canada on Saturday 1 June
The other three league matches will be against Pakistan, India and Ireland.

They both are member of International Cricket Council. While Canada has qualified for the World Cup this time and USA has made an automatic entry because it is a host nation.

Yes, and it's always been that way. But IMO, Cricket is so unpredictable in nature that anything can happen on a given day. Even far lower ranked teams had won against the pro teams on their day.
