I think everyone knows to hodl.
How many people have been trapped trying to sell high and buy low?
Then you end up buying less that what you had before.

I think a lot of new people who overstretch themselves are the ones who don't HODL. They join in during the rush up but as soon as it pulls back they do the classic panic sell without looking into the what or why it is going on.

Yes, being misinformed or being emotional does not help.
Especially bitcoin, because it can have major swings.
