This is some solid and deep down-the-rabbit-hole (so to speak) reporting. Turns out the company making the Rabbit R1 (which has gotten awful reviews everywhere) pivoted from a failed NFT[1] and shitcoin project (which they essentially rugged), and have been covering that up.

  1. Pretty sure that's redundant.

The question is. Is Rabbit R1 peak AI hype or do we have a way to go?

reply

Sadly, almost certainly the latter.

reply

Yeah, I think you're right.

All be damned... Makes a lot of sense that they would try and hop on the next fad ASAP. I thought the idea behind the R1 was interesting but even with what they said it could do it seemed half-baked. Then when the reviews came out it reminded me of that huge ass button thing that was released earlier this year as an AI assistant

reply

The silicon valley(Not the show) term is... pivot. They pivoted.

Lol I don't know why the rabbit needs its own device, how is that not just a smartphone app?It makes sense that it comes from the mind of an NFT crapto grifter, but man who funds these people?

reply

People will too much money and not enough diligence.
