I need some feedback. There are a lot of awesome devs in Nostr thanks to OpenSats, but there are also a bunch of independent devs that are also writing code and will write code regardless of support from the community or not. So I set out to find some, but truth is there are too many. So I wish to award them with badges, but I'm having some hard time with how I should present them. I came up with these. Feedback from the community would be awesome.
Legendary Badge award Developers that are building apps, websites, clients etc. FOSS without support from OpenSats.
Epic Badge award Developers that are building Nostr, FOSS but supported by openSats. I like to point out OpenSats “decides” if they want to support certain projects or devs, instead of issuing grants
Super rare Developers contribute to FOSS, freelancers?
Rare Developers that are building Nostr, but aren't FOSS not supported by Opensats
I don't know how to categorize the last two. Any ideas?
if you've seen my post on yakihonne.com, you'll understand what I mean. I'm looking for ideas, if you have any I would like to hear them. These devs spend so much time behind a screen to write code, it seems a bit of recognition is in order.
I used to be active on Damus but it kinda lost its appeal. I do have a Snort account but never use it. How do I get started on Nostr?
Good that you’re trying to bring positive energy to these unsung heroes
