Lightning Network Daemon (lnd), a prominent implementation of the Lightning Network node, recently made significant changes to its inbound fee policies. This update is aimed at maintaining compatibility across different node implementations while offering the flexibility for node operators to experiment with fee structures. By default, lnd now rejects user-requested changes to channel settings that require above-zero inbound forwarding fees.
