Hi all!
We are a tiny startup using Lightning as default on our store for Gift Cards and PrePaid visas at https://AllArk.io
This is more of a comment for those who are interested in accepting Lightning Payments via BTCpayserver (A fully non-custodial payment processor!)
If you want to integrate Lightning on your store, BTCpayserver makes it pretty easy but if you are a new to Lightning, like us, we would recommend reading up on a few things
  1. Buying incoming liquidity (can’t send out using this channel)
  2. Opening a normal channel with peers (you have to lock in some Bitcoin)
  3. Setting Lightning as default on your store (Settings -> Checkout Appearance -> BTC (Off-Chain) )
These are the things that helped us figure out some minor niggling issues and get running perfectly.
Happy to answer any questions if you’re facing any issues in your own store!
It’s been a learning journey and Lightning is simply awesome! 🙃
Thanks for sharing. Just curious where you get those gift cards.. Are you buying from official store with discounts?

Our pleasure!
We have a relationship with wholesalers. Been in this business on and off for some time, just got sick of Payment Processors and their shenanigans so switched to BTC. :)
