Damn, attacks on wallets instead of the chain itself are the worst.
The solution is to transfer assets into a wallet which has never exposed a private key to potentially vulnerable browser extensions.
You know what? Compromised hot wallets (no matter if browser extension or app or whatever) can happen anywhere anytime. This could happen to Bitcoin as well.
