150 years from now
150 years from now, none of us reading this post will be alive today. 70 percent to 100 percent of what we are fighting over now will be completely forgotten. Underline the word completely.
If we go back in time to 150 years ago, it would be 1872, when none of those who held the world on their heads are alive today. Almost all of us reading this will find it difficult to imagine the face of anyone from that era.
Stop for a moment and imagine how some of them betrayed their relatives and sold them as slaves for a piece of mirror. Some people killed family members for a piece of land or a yam or a tuber of cowries or a pinch of salt. Where is the yam, cowry, mirror, or salt that they were using to boast? This may seem strange to us now, but we humans are so stupid sometimes, especially when it comes to money, power or trying to be relevant!
Even when you claim that the internet age will preserve your memory, take Michael Jackson for example. Exactly 13 years ago in 2009, Michael Jackson died. Imagine the impact Michael Jackson had on the entire world when he was alive. How many of today's youth remember him with astonishment, that is, do they even know him? For 150 years to come, many people will not ring a bell whenever his name is mentioned.
let's make life easier
150 years is nothing. I like operating on scales of 25,000 to 30,000 years.

A tangent, but related.
About 10 years ago I was in Las Vegas and hopped in an Uber to go somewhere. There was massive traffic and we were at a standstill. I reasoned that it was because Paul McCartney was doing a concert that was starting soon....
Me: I guess this traffic is for the McCartney concert?
Driver: whos that?
Me: Paul McCartney....was in The Beatles
Driver: oh, never really heard of them, were they like famous or something?
Me: yea....pretty famous.
Obviously I dropped the conversation.

It's witty conversation. By the way who's Paul McCartney?😜

Interesting. What is the picture about?
reply
The picture is about those who have become past and going to be past . This is only the reality of life that we all have to go one day from this world to the final abode of all living beings. So the thing that is very important for all of us, is to live our life the way we want. Nobody will remember us after our departure.

I don't know what do you mean that none of us will be alive. I will have to be alive. Still too many things to do. 😂
