If you dont want to kill stuff, some genres can interest you:
  • stealth games (some let you complete the game without killing)
  • sports games
  • simulation/tycoon games (in some games you may kill people but you'd be punished by it)
  • idle games (cookie clickers), but I wouldn't recomend it to children, or people with obssessive tendencies.

If you want to reflect on violence in games, MOON Remix RPG Adventure could be a good call. Its graphics look a bit outdated, but besides that it is a good game. It also inspired Toby Fox, creator of Undertale, a lot.
