  • Would have the Secretary of the Treasury prepare a report that includes information on “The capacity of the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, the Office of Foreign Assets Control, and Federal and State law enforcement agencies to track, prevent the transfer of, freeze, and confiscate funds that have been processed through digital asset mixers, privacy coins, and other anonymity-enhancing technologies”
Who the hell is US congress to decide about Bitcoin. Did they invent it or have patent? They are just trying to confuse people or may be they themselves are confused.

I posted about this last week before they had finalized a title. Just look at who the Members who signed are. Sean Casten employed SBF’s brother until he left to form a nonprofit. Brad Sherman asked to turn off crypto like a light switch… these people are the fringe minority and their own party in the House doesn’t believe in what they believe in

(a) MORATORIUM.— (1) IN GENERAL.—During the 2-year period beginning 6 months after the date of enactment of this Act, it shall be unlawful for a financial institution to handle, use, or transact with— (A) any incoming funds that have been routed through a digital asset mixer operating on a cryptographically secured distributed ledger; and (B) any outgoing funds routed directly to a digital asset mixer operating on a cryptographically secured distributed ledger.
