How were the 90s watered down but the current era isn't watered down when there are even more teams?
Also just because you add 90 players doesn't mean you added 90 players who weren't good enough to play in the league before to become starters. These 90 players become back end of the roster guys and other guys who maybe didn't get enough playing time because they were stuck behind all stars, play a bigger role. So 90 more players probably dilutes quality of play a bit but maybe not by a large degree.

That's the question that popped into my head, too.
Teams got to protect eight guys in the expansion drafts, so it's not like the top teams even lost significant playoff contributors in most cases.
When they do the next expansion and Boston has to give up Sam Hauser or whoever, that won't have watered them down significantly.

Why isn’t Mitchell playing?
Mitchell got hurt last game near the end of the game, I believe it was a calf strain. He tried to recover enough for this game, but it wasn't enough for him to play.
You guys are spot on. Celtics show that they can easily get rattled when you play physical with them and they seem very emotionally vulnerable.

They’re so talented though. If they manage to put together even one good quarter, they’re pretty hard to beat.

I didn’t catch what the injury was, but he was ruled out earlier today.
Heat w/out Butler, Cavs w/out Mitchell, so far. Just imagine if they go through the beaten up Knicks and then Jokic twists an ankle or something.

I wouldn't rule out that they fold under pressure anyway.
