I recently created my Zeus wallet, and I have sent via on-chain from another wallet. So far so good. I have my balance visible and it is beautiful.

But, at that moment, I remembered that I hadn't really checked my seed key, so I tried importing my wallet into Sparrow and Blue wallet.

In the case of Blue wallet, I installed the app on my mobile, and when I clicked on import and entered my keywords, it found no results. Nothing. Zero.

In the case of Sparrow wallet, I installed it on the PC, before, to be able to withdraw the funds from Samourai after its fall, but now, when importing Zeus, after entering the 24 words, I get invalid checksum.

What could have caused this?

The embedded node in ZEUS is based on LND and uses the aezeed seed format. This is different than the typical BIP39 format you see in most Bitcoin wallets, although it may appear to be similar. aezeed includes some extra data including the birth date of the wallet that will help rescans during recovery happen more efficiently.

I don't know why it wouldn't have occurred to me to look at the official Zeus documentation.

The steps to import the wallet into Sparrow are long and somewhat complex, but on a free day, just to play and experiment, I will try it.

In the meantime, to make sure I have the wallet correctly saved, I want to try Blixt and Blue wallet (again).

What surprised me about Blue wallet is that, if they are compatible, I should have imported the wallet without problems, unless it only allows one node on a mobile terminal, and therefore I have to install Blue wallet with said node (Zeus) on another device.

Zeus and Blue wallet use Aezeed seeds, not bip39. That’s why it won’t work in sparrow

It will work. One just has to convert the seed. See link in previous post.

That’s a lot of steps and I’d be careful with that. Better to just use Blue wallet or Blixt.

Make sure to only have one node at a time. Delete from one before restoring to another app or device.

One who tests beta software probably shouldn't be afraid of a lot of steps for recovery.

No worries, Zeus is reliable. It's just that you need to figure out how to work around it.

You have relieved me a lot of the fear of not having my wallet properly saved.
Also, I will try the options offered as soon as I can and report the results here.
