Good morning stackers! It's a beautiful Tuesday, the sun's shining the birds are chirping and somewhere the bacon is sizzling.
It's a swing kinda day so here's Ronnie Williams with Mack the Knife. https://youtu.be/lB767PA6b-w?si=KeXdLVmk0P-4ezJz

I know this version played by Sir Amstrong but from R.Williams, nice too :)

Sounds like 1920s American music

It is. Frank Sinatra did it a long time ago, I shares the Robbie Williams version because I really like how smooth Robbie's vocals are here.

🤠A little country for ya 🎤

Mullet country! 😂 I like a lot of Diamond Rio, and some other country bands in that decade. There was a great sound some of them did in that time period that I don't really hear anymore.
reply
Yes, they don't make good country like that anymore. Sad.
reply
It definitely has changed since then. It's not that I can't stand all the new stuff, I just wouldn't call most of it country anymore! There are still some artists doing the old school sound, you just don't hear much about them.

Oooo that's some good yeehaw!

Outskirts of Town - Albert King

I love the sounds Albert could get out of his guitar, especially during live performances. He gives the music room to breathe. Also, another left hand guitarist that plays reverse strings!

That guitar is singing. Wicked track.
