It's not obvious that Africa is in the SW hemisphere. Assuming there is an island there?
I guess the map needed some work to be more clear. A hemisphere is half a sphere. SW hemisphere does not exist.
There are two lines that create the 4 hemispheres:
  • The Equator Line (in red).
    • Everything SOUTH of the equator line is in the Southern Hemisphere.
    • Everything NORTH of the equator line is in the Northern Hemisphere.
  • The Prime Meridian, a.k.a. the Greenwich Meridian (in blue)
    • Everything EAST of the PM is in the Eastern Hemisphere
    • Everything WEST of the PM is in the Western Hemisphere

I get it. My observation was more along the lines that Africa has land in both the Eastern and Western half of the Northern hemisphere, but only occupies land in Eastern half of the Southern hemisphere. But your initial observation that Africa occupies territory in all 4 hemispheres is spot on.
