IF SSB's actually arrive, I think this will be the catalyst to push many people into owning EV's. This is certainly the case for me, I'm not interesting in buying a vehicle that can only do 150-200 miles at a time. Too much hassle during long road trips trying to manage that...For me I think 400-500 miles is the benchmark.
Outside of EV's, these will make big transformations across the entire battery powered space.

I care more about it for those other applications, but I'm sure you're right that it will be a boon for EV's.
I need the actual costs of EV's to come down dramatically, before I'm interested.
