I just went out to run some errands and I was listening to Dave Smith on JRE. When I left off they were talking Israel and Palestine and Dave made the point that even when he participated in a 2 hour four person debate on the subject it didn't seem like enough time and everyone else is trying to work with 5 minute segments and soundbites.

Another of these issues where no one seems to be willing to simply take a nuanced position and call out atrocities regardless who perpetuates them.
