The absolute absurdity of the "middle of the road" socialist concept starts with the idea that property can be defined "halfways", which is strictly an oxymoron, because if there is an entity that can freely decide what's yours and what's not, and when, then you don't own anything, you only have the illusion of property, where you actually have permission to use state property.
