Thanks for your feedback Mate, but honestly, did you even read the article? No offense.
Compounding experiences means community, family, reality: „ start to exchange your labor for positive life experiences with yourself, your friends, and your family. Therefore, invest in experiences that yield long-lasting memories. Always keep in mind that everyone’s health declines with age, meaning that with age 80 you won’t be able to spend time with your parents because they are most likely already dead…“
Being humble and learning from others is ancient philosophy for you?
Maybe you are the one sitting alone on your phone, probably not (able) reading entire articles while trolling others? No offense. Of course.
I started reading and then realised the article would take me 10 minutes. Since the most scarce resource is time, it would have been useful to tell people at the start that the articles goes on and on for a while.
Personally, I think there's an explosion of self-help how-to-life material. Almost all of it is platitudes and rehashed greek philosophy with a winner-mentality bend. It only adds to the general feeling of inadequacy among people stuck in the fiat rat race.
So, no, I didn't read all of it. But ask yourself, did we need another essay telling people to get rich quick and "be nice to your parents". I don't know how you treat your parents. Cheap advice is cheap. As far as I'm concerned, you could just be another LARPer with a newsletter to sell.

Fair enough and you don’t have to read the article but it took you also a couple of minutes writing a comment about an article you did not even read, so what’s the value of it? You are robbing other people’s time by arguing about something you did not even read.
If you value your time, so you should value the time of others. Next time either you read the damn article and leave a comment (i also highly value critical comments) or just go your way and don’t waste your time nor the time of others.

Great thing about Stacker News is that I saw that this article was at the top of my home feed with 15.2k sats zapped and a whole load of comments.
Therefore I sacrificed 10 minutes of my life reading it and I’m glad I did!
If there had been only a few sats zapped, I would have probably dismissed it as another generic self-help article.
Value4value web of trust benefits at its best!
