The news' ability to give a headline while obscuring what´s actually going on is amazing. There's the option these hacks just don't know how it works, or it's by design, I don't want to speculate. So why is the rise of BRICs such a problem? The article mentions dollar dominance passingly without saying that the prosperity of the US is literally robbed from other countries, because they need dollars for commerce that the US produces for almost-0 cost, with which it can then buy products around the world without giving anything in return. When the demand for dollars falls, as BRICS is doing, this gig is up. In the past, the US has enforced dollar dominance by means of sanctions and war, in Libya, Iraq, Syria, Yugoslavia, Venezuela, much of Africa all the long list of countries destroyed by the US because they were trying to get off their dependency on US dollar exploitation. When these countries have other options to escape these sanctions and prosper anyway, as offered by BRICS, or can defend against US aggression, as also, they increasingly can with BRICS support and the long string of humioiating US defeats, that gig is also up.
