Linus Tech Tips is one of the big tech YT channels, and I'm glad to see they're starting a series on de-googling. Part 1 doesn't get to phones, but I'm assuming that's on the radar. A lot of this may be 101 stuff for folks here, but it's got some good clear explanations and makes for a good thing to share with someone who's looking to de-google.

I have been able to do so much only thanks to google that if I ever come by their offices I would stop to thank someone.
Yet I absolutely love alternatives, specially being a Linux-only user. Let's not hate but embrace alternatives and even google will improve. Competence is cooperation.

It's not about hate as much it is about being aware of Google's privacy and data management practices, and trying to reduce risk and exposure.
