I fully agree with you. When I was young, I tried to conform to the system, but I always felt that something was wrong. I would change jobs and cities, thinking I was the problem. Then my daughters came along and I realized that you have to slow down and find a balance.
Money is needed, but it should not overwhelm us. It's essential to work to live, not live to work, and to find meaning and happiness in what we do.
I'm still finding my own balance but I'm committed to occupying my time doing only things that I appreciate and that give me a real experience.
It's not easy but there is a choice.
