Yeah I wasn't saying it in a "no one should do this" tone. I was mainly asking if this was for plebs that want to try and win a random block solo mining.

Oh I meant it in a positive way! Odds are still low. It’s actually quite fun to have one of these running. Less than the cost of a 60w lightbulb.

You happen to know how much it costs to run? I may buy one for the fun of it. I'm sure the odds aren't great but I'm sure I'd learn something from the process.

Definitely going to get one. This looks fun, to run a solo pool on my node and play the Bitcoin lottery for a few bucks a month.
