For me, after 10+ years using BTC, a Bitcoin standard is when you actually:
  • earn BTC, doing work/selling stuff, reject fiat at all means
  • hodl BTC as savings economy (save and spend wisely)
  • spend BTC because: 1) you don't have anymore fiat, 2) fuck banks 3) help bitcoin merchants 4) create bitcoin circular economy
bitcoin standard means bitcoin first. I more or less agree with your three points, though I don't yet earn in BTC. I look forward to that one day. Y'all let me know if you want to pay for your yacht repairs in bitcoin :)

Cool, this is the beginning of your journey. Run a BTCpayserver where you can set your own online shop and start promoting your business and take BTC for your services. This is the best way to get BTC.
You can also promote your page and business on these BTC merchant pages for a broader audience and start the Bitcoin circular economy

I don't actually have that business up and running yet, but I work towards it. (I currently work in a shipyard that does not accept bitcoin as payment.)

Accepted everywhere. Not taxed for capital gains.
Simple and realistic
That sounds reasonable.
FWIW: Obi mentioned two useful metrics to assess how close is the community towards being on Bitcoin Standard.

A real bitcoiner? WTF is that?
A Bitcoin Standard that we all have to conform to sounds like the hellscape we have at present.
