Pros/cons of the following approaches to creating fiat stablecoins "on/for bitcoin":
  1. Taro
  2. RGB
  3. Blockstream Liquid
  4. Synonym OmniBOLT
  5. RSK
  6. Stacks
  7. CFDs / DLCs
I'm no expert in any of those, so the only thing I can offer is quick impression from reading some of the associated docs:
1, 2, 4, 7: con: Waiting to see any application in the wild 3: con: centralized core of the system 5: con: the existing applications don't seem appealing (e.g. no LN integration) 6: con: really hard to crunch through the marketing BS and somehow it looks like premined shitcoin?
