Going off of the subject that I was on the other day. #555103 Let me fill you in: I own a 1992 Mazda Protege. It has regular size tires, with pretty normal size sidewalls. My coworkers, they have newer cars, with tires that are low profile. Supposedly it gives you better handling, because the sidewall doesnt flex. But it gives you a lot rougher of a ride. Would you "upgrade" your tires to low profile if you had the chance? I might be weird, but I always like the spongey feeling I get from my tires being a little underinflated, and that way they are able to soak up all the bumps with the suspension. What are your thoughts? I know the trend is going towards low profile tires.
low profile means damages rims and tires an most urban streets of the US

Yes, I know. They dont offer the needed suspension. I like feeling like I am on a cloud when I drive lol

Old is Gold. Never ever try to adapt to the new one 'the low profile tyres'. I used to have a jeep 1988 model and that was without suspension but those big size spongy tyres worked better than modern day suspension.

Yeah, I just laugh at the people who buy newer cars and then change the rims and tires on them. Not only does it look ugly, it actually reduces their function.
