Even though the US had a semilibertarian revolution, there are few libertarians in representative governance.
I think it is mostly due to the sheer size of the US. We would see more diversity if the US broke up into many separate nation states.
reply
Even if America just broke into three countries (west coast, northeast, everything else), I think there would be much more scope for libertarians.
We'd basically replace Republicans in the blue countries and replace Democrats in the red one.
We'll see what happens. They took a big step towards national divorce yesterday.

Regarding the possible rise of "lawfare" and our national divorce.
I've been consistently confused about something: Suppose I was elected fire chief for a town....now suppose it came out that I had been intentionally hampering my firemen's effort in fighting fires, refusing to allow them to respond in a timely fashion. Even worse, I was caught placing cans of gasoline next to buildings and then when a fire happens, I delayed those under my command from fighting the fire.
Clearly this would liable for some type "dereliction of duty / criminal negligence" charges.
But there are whole facets of the public domain where this is happening now. From Soros DAs who refuse to prosecute crimes, letting murders and rapist back onto the streets hours after their arrest....to the brazen breaking of federal law happening on southern border....to the obvious failure to test the vaccine and yet create mandates for it.....to now banana republic style show trials to silence political rivals.
The question is: How has there been no legal repercussions from any of this? Even if there is a conspiracy to perform these actions, not everyone can be part of the conspiracy. There must be some honest DA's...some honest attorney generals?
The lack of any political will to enact any sort of justice seems to indicate that the marriage is already over, but we just haven't admitted it yet.

The short answer, that certainly deserves a thorough treatment, is that they found an exploit in our system and metastasized steadily.
People who try to address it are dealt with, one way or another.
reply
Yep, there are WEF influence Marxists working in many localities and in the government education system. Most people focus far to much on national politics really.
reply
Libertarians should focus more on local issues and elections
This has been the case ever since president Lincoln.
reply
Good point. That fundamentally changed the nature of the country.

If you've been following lux dropping sovereignty pills alot of this makes sense. During president Lincoln he declared Marshall law against the insurgents. These were the bankers
