We all know the motto: go woke, go broke! In the German case, a green woke ideology has eaten its way into all parties, which are now unanimously working on the liquidation of Germany as an industrial location. The phasing out of nuclear power, the war against its own automotive industry and the combustion engine, over-regulation, the highest taxation among the OECD countries - there are many examples to summarize Germany's decline. If you put the German economy in relation to its European partners, the whole descent becomes a farce.
It is really interesting to observe that in Germany, of all places, people are working less in comparison. This form of denial of reality is likely to cost Germany its prosperity, especially when you consider that the Aldi demographic cliff will cause social systems, especially the pension system, to collapse if politicians do not change course quickly.
Without wishing to offend the southern Europeans, who are victims of euro-colonial policy, it is astonishing that even the battered economies of Spain and Italy are outpacing Germany in terms of economic growth. It is to the great credit of the coalition in Berlin that it is now letting the others take the lead and using moronic policies to unwind the German economy. Last year alone, Germany lost 136 billion euros in direct investment to foreign countries. This trend is likely to intensify in the coming years if the ideologues in Berlin and elsewhere are not prepared to radically reverse their crash course with reality.
Despite your regular updates on the situation, it's still shocking to me that this is really happening.
Germany appears to be a nation in free-fall. How are politicians explaining this to the German public? Does the German public have no pride?
The collapse of domestic industry in America (which was always much overstated) is a huge political issue. It matters to people here that their country makes stuff. Do Germans care about that anymore?

As soon as a little criticism arises, politicians put some kind of propaganda over it, like the recent demonstrations against the right.

What's the scapegoat for this? "Far-right extremists aren't letting us do enough climate socialism."?
reply
the narrative here is: the right-wingers want to destroy our democracy
reply
What are the odds? We have that same talking point over here.
Maybe Germany will figure out how to make that claim while simultaneously imprisoning the main opposition leader. That's advanced democracy, right there.

Ok. The Trump trials really are setting a new standard. But Germany has turned itself into a green commie shithole ruled by stupid Davosian freaks that won't stop. It's a disaster

"Far-right" accusations in Germany are very effective at paralysing critical thinking, for obvious reasons. The social price to pay for speaking out against all the insanity is still too high for many...

True. Sad but true

The only pride allowed is gay pride, otherwise you're a nazi... IMO this is a self-inflicted wound. After all, those politicians are in charge because people voted for them.

the only peaceful way to demoralize and delegitimize this pig system is to let it crash economically, make yourself and your family independent of it and completely ignore elections.

That's not true tho. Conservatives are voicing their opinions all the time. Nobody fucking cares if you have pride about being German.
The "allowed" in question:

I hope Germany changes course in time. Otherwise…

Maybe Germany got tired of subsidising the largesse of the southern EU countries and decided to tank its economy to make it stop, no more free lunch from us take that PIGS!

not that our green world saviors from Germany will soon need help themselves?
