I'd be interested to know peoples thoughts on this topic. There has for years been scaremongering narratives around 'over population' often coming from Malthusian elites yet the actual statistics around birth rates tell a different story....🤔

Birth rates are down in the first world women don’t want children. They want careers not kids.
Regarding the most populous countries, they are mostly poor and third world and can benefit from lower fertility

I dont really know, but I suspect its environmental of some kind? phthalate poisoning (microplastics which mimic estrogen)?
I would imagine such an environmental reason would also show itself by say....gender dysfunction (trans, etc).

Japan and Korea are even worse.
China had a lot of ups and downs...maybe they had a bit of mismanagement.
