"Freedom" in the fiat world is epitomized by the act of asking permission to move your own money. What a ridiculous concept. The fact that a significant chunk of the world's population lives like this is a travesty.
To be fair, a lot of these policies are enacted at branches that have a lot of elderly or vulnerable customers. That is why the notice is specific to the branch and not talking about a corporate policy.
Though out of context of branches that have had fraud claims, the messaging is tone-deaf.
I'm not defending this at all... just pointing out there is often another angle to these stories.
