I love Japanese cuisine because its style of cooking brings out the natural goodness of food.

You made me Google Spanish croquettes. Looks yummy too! Makes me wanna visit Spain again
If there’s any link between Spanish and Japanese croquettes, I won’t be surprised if @Oxbitcoiner knows about it

An interesting link between Spanish and Japanese culture dating back 17th century

Apparently 6 samurais remained in this area , giving surname “Japón” to descendants. I have met a few of them myself over the years.

Your wife must be very good at cooking.
I can never get them to stay together or be soft inside!

You know what? You made me realise that I should appreciate my wife’s cooking more rather than just give a perfunctory Arigato haha

Cooking is a skill that takes time to cultivate.
Instead of just appreciating it, take a sunday to make what she does.
You will see how hard it is.
If you have your wife instruct you, she might laugh lol
