Be always restless, unsatisfied, unconforming. Whenever a habit becomes convenient, smash it. The greatest sin of all is satisfaction. –Nikos Kazantzakis, The Saviors of God (1927)
Kazantzakis is suggesting to have always a dynamic approach to life. By remaining restless and unsatisfied, one continually seeks growth and improvement. The moment you feel content with your life, realize that you are not truly living. Comfort exists not in living, but in dying. Many seek solace in death, not in living.
That's how I understand this quote and I'm inclined to agree with Kazantzakis.
