I lost out on a directorship after being interim director for almost two years. Then I trained my new boss for over a year continuing to do my job and half of his. I continues managing the budget, which he didn't bother learning to do, because he had me. He said this in a staff meeting once when I asked about workloads. Later he took 100% credit for the budget with me standing there making the presentation to the board. I quit, but could still kill the man.

Anyone can have an idea. I think it's more important to act on them. I strongly dislike Zuckerberg, but he called 10-15 friends about his idea about FB, only 4 showed up and 2? helped to build it.

I told my friend about an idea, she always rejects it. Now, I don't even bother to tell her about it because I know the obvious answer. Then I told another friend, and she got on board to help. Your friend should have encouraged you to help build it. Ask them, why did you leave me out of this? Let him or her tell you honestly, and suggest building it together, and that you're happy to have someone on board.

It happened to me, but they did not steal my idea; they stole a translation I had done and published it as their own, just changing some words for each paragraph. And I couldn't do anything. But it was a great lesson for me.

it happened to me before; ppl even copied and pasted my articles ( changed a few words ), but I ignored them and kept doing my thing, ppl like that can't invent things but stealing, time will tell.

But I guess what truly made one unique is those unstealable within you.
