Thanks. I think @k00b's going to automate these, once we're set on the format or maybe just once he has time to do it.

It's fun looking back and seeing how much we've grown in a really short time.

Yes, it would be better for saving you a lot of time.

Just wondering! After the automation, will this post be posted under your authorship or @... Someone else's?

reply

I don't think it will be me. I'd guess it'll be @sn.

reply

Shouldn't it be you??

I mean, it's your idea!!!

reply

Doesn't matter. It's something I wanted to see someone try out, so eventually I tried it.

Now that it looks like people value it, I just want it to continue being part of SN.

I can also try other experiments.

reply

Great!! 😸 Just tickling a bit nothing else!! I know we all love to be part of SN..

I think this should just be what's shown on the currently blank search page

I made a github issue for it: https://github.com/stackernews/stacker.news/issues/1240

reply

Hmm. I like that, but I think there's also room for archive related posts. I doubt people will remember to go to the search page, regularly, although I imagine that will change over time.

Maybe there's some other historical series that's a little less formulaic, but that also might better resurface content people want to revisit: Undisciplined's Archive Adventures?

Agreed, it feels more alive when there's a comment thread attached.

I just appreciate you pulling it together for us to have an easy look, very much so.
