Dear God, source of all wisdom and truth, we begin this new day seeking Your presence and Your guidance. We trust in Your infinite goodness and Your ability to renew our minds and hearts. Today, we want to strip ourselves of everything that separates us from You and humbly embrace Your word that is planted in us and that can save our souls.

Lord, help us to free our hearts from all impurity and evil. May we leave behind the worries, grudges and negative thoughts that weigh on our souls. Fill us with Your Spirit, so that we can live according to Your teachings and walk in the light of Your love.

We ask for Your wisdom to discern what is good and true. May Your living and effective word find fertile soil in our hearts, growing and bearing fruit in actions of justice, mercy and compassion. May we hear Your call and respond with joy, dedicating our lives to serving and loving everyone around us.

Lord, give us strength to resist temptations and perseverance to face trials that may arise. May Your word be the lamp for our feet and the light for our path, guiding us in every decision and action.

As we look at the day unfolding before us, we ask Your blessing on our activities, our meetings and our work. May everything we do be done with integrity and excellence, as an offering of praise to You.

Finally, Lord, we pray that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. May we find rest in You and live this day with the certainty of Your constant and loving presence. In the name of Jesus, Your beloved son, we pray.

The passage from James 1:21 says, "Therefore rid yourselves of all moral impurity and evil that prevails, and humbly accept the word implanted in you, which is able to save you." This passage exhorts us to abandon all forms of impurity and evil, humbly accepting the word of God that has the power to transform and save our lives.
